Isn’t that exciting?!
I grew up as a dancer and actually took class at The National Ballet School when I was in university. It was so fun to be taught by some of The School’s best instructors (and sneak peeks at the professional students during rehearsals; oh man, they’re so good!).
With the new In Studio program, launching this September, you can take a wide array of classes—like contemporary, ballet, and jazz—at levels ranging from beginner to professional. In Studio’s director will be Kate Kernaghan, a graduate of The National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program; class instructors will include National Ballet principal dancer Aleksandar Antonijevic and first soloist Jonathan Renna, as well as The National Ballet School’s Tatiana Tchernova and contemporary dancer/choreogrpaher Louis Laberge-Côté. What a lineup!
You can register for classes starting in August. Such a great opportunity to get some exercise, learn/hone a skill, and have a lot of fun!
A program so nice, we wrote about it twice! Photos by Aleksandar Antonijevic.
